Julie
Gatti offers spiritual healing sessions in the heart-centered
tradition of the Sufi way. She has been a practicing Shadhiliyya Sufi
and spiritual healer for the past 7 years, and was trained as a Spirtitual
and Medical Healing Practitioner at the University of Spiritual Healing
and Sufism (formerly The Jaffe Institute). Her personal healing journey
with the qualities of love, mercy and acceptance have led her through
a deep transformation where she found freedom from many limiting beliefs
and emotional patterns. She helps others access their deeper truth
and inner knowing, which is often hidden beneath stored feelings within
the body’s memory. This healing modality offers solace and the
deep healing of the heart.
Julie has a subspecialty in child development as a Certified Waldorf
Teacher. She brings this knowledge into her healing practice with
parents seeking support in raising their children. Her healership
also rests on a foundation of physical understanding with her background
as a Certified Nutritionist and Clinical Herbalist. She studied nutrition
at American Health Science University and herbal medicine at the Northeast
School of Botanical Medicine, the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical
Studies, and locally with renowned herbalist Cascade Anderson Geller.
Sufi Healing is an ancient healing art based on the
mystical traditions of Islam. When a person is held in a container
of love they can often work through deep seated issues, break false
pictures and beliefs they have of themselves and others, and access
the wisdom and clarity of the heart. This brings insightful understanding
and compassionate love into our beings and allows us to have a direct
tasting of who we really are. In practical terms, this means more
joy, peace, love and goodness is sourced within us. This is then what
we radiate out to the world. We heal ourselves and we heal our relationships
with others. In a healing session the client brings up an issue they
want to work on and they are led on a journey into the heart. They
are gently guided in an exploration of their feelings and they learn
how to receive what they are in need of in the moment. Many tender
and profound states can be reached with this simple process.
“Do you think you are a small star, while the whole universe
is contained within you?”
~ Shaykh Sa’id al-Jamal
* Although Sufi healing comes from a specific spiritual
tradition it does not require one to be a follower of Sufism. |
